Community Colleges
At a recent White House summit, President Obama refered to community colleges as the "unsung heros" of our national education system. “They may not get the credit they deserve, they may not get the same resources as other schools, but they provide a gateway to millions of Americans to good jobs and a better life." One such local "hero" is North Shore Community College with a growing enrollment that this year will top over 17,000 students. Since its beginnings in 1965, NSCC has grown to support the needs of the communities it serves. Like many community colleges, North Shore does an incredible job of providing the education and guidance that places its students on a path to success, but here in the greater Boston area, with it's large number of universities and colleges, the school felt the need to tell it's story in a compeling manor that would encorage further involvement and contribution to the school. In response to this need we produced a seven minute film that, through the words of students, alumni, and supporters, reveals why this school is among the heros.
CFO Conferences
CFO Magazine, CFO.com, and CFO Conferences provide valuable information to top level financial executives. And throughout these controversial times attendance at their events conitinues to rise, attendees know they can count on knowledgable and up to date information. To encorage greater participation by sponsors and vendors, we created a short four minute piece that emphasizes the CFO brand and value it represents to attendees.
Project Update: "Sebring -Turn 10"
In what we hope to be the final push on this project, additional interviews were conducted this past July at Lime Rock Park in northwest Connecticut. We were honored to have participation from Highcroft Racing's Duncan Dayton and driver David Brabham. David is the son of three time World Driving Champion Sir Jack Brabham, and has a long string of championships to his credit including winning the 2009 Le Mans 24 Hours. We also spoke with driver Gunnar Jeanette and John Hindhaugh of Radio Le Mans. All provided great insight on the Sebring race and the dedicated fans that attend every year.
Digital Photography
July saw staff photographer Virginia Sutherland traverling to Dallas to document a major Microsoft conference. Photos were used to create a faces montage that was shown on the "world's largest" video screen during the final night of the conferenece at Cowboy Stadium. Other images are being used for internal promotion and web distribution. Check out more of Ginny's photos at: http://suthvid.zenfolio.com/
